The Dalian Sports Center covers a total area of 820000 square meters, with a total construction area of approximately 550000 square meters. It has ten major individual buildings, including a sports stadium, gymnasium, swimming pool, tennis court, indoor tennis training center, baseball field, comprehensive training center, indoor track and field center, education and research building, and media center. In addition, it also includes sports training venues such as football, basketball, tennis, and supporting facilities such as roads, pipelines, and parking lots.

The design of multiple individual projects at Dalian Sports Center has created the world's best. Among them, the "string supported dome" structural system of the gymnasium is currently one of the world's largest span string supported dome structural projects; The sports stadium is currently the largest single building in the world, second only to the Beijing Water Cube membrane structure in terms of area.

This project utilizes over 200 PD19 series intelligent measurement and control instruments from Jiangsu Sfere Electric Co., Ltd., which can measure various power parameters such as voltage, current, power, frequency, demand, and bidirectional energy metering. It has an RS485 communication interface and supports multiple communication protocols for monitoring and controlling the status of on-site equipment.

At the same time, Dalian Sports Center has also installed more than 300 SCK600A combined electrical fire monitoring detectors, which can monitor the residual current generated by wires and the temperature of distribution boxes or cables in real time, in order to identify and warn of potential electrical fire hazards, providing strong safety guarantees for the distribution system of Dalian Sports Center project.
